Ford’s Co-Pilot360™ Standard and Available Features

BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert
Lane-Keeping System
Pre-Collision Assist with AEB

BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert

BLIS®, or Blind Spot Information System, is like an extra set of eyes. It will detect and alert you to vehicles in your blind spot, and with Cross-Traffic Alert, can alert you of traffic behind you as you back out of a parking spot.

Lane-Keeping System

This smart feature scans and knows your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road and will alert you if you’ve started to sway into another lane without signaling. And, if you’ve drifted a few times, a coffee cup icon will appear to suggest taking a break from driving to recoup.

Pre-Collision Assist with AEB

By scanning the road ahead and detecting potential collisions, Pre-Collision Assist will alert you of vehicles or pedestrians in your path. AEB, or Automatic Emergency Braking, will apply the brakes automatically for corrective action if needed.

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control
Evasive Steering Assist
Reverse Brake Assist

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control

Using features like Speed Sign Recognition, Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control can slow, stop and even resume your set speed and in coordination with the posted speed limit sign.^

Evasive Steering Assist

To be clear, this feature doesn’t steer for you, but provides steering support if the system detects a potential collision ahead and you need to maneuver around the vehicle.

Reverse Brake Assist

Similar to Cross-Traffic Alert, Reverse Brake Assist detects stationary and moving objects behind your Ford model when reversing and applies the brakes when needed. Even vehicles moving at a speed of up to 37 mph can be detected.

Rearview camera
Active Park Assist 2.0
Auto High-Beam Headlamps

Rearview camera

You know this one. Practically standard on almost all new Ford models, the rearview camera will be displayed on your center touchscreen and will be your extra set of eyes when reversing.

Active Park Assist 2.0

You’ll love this feature: When activated, Active Park Assist 2.0 will help locate a potential parallel or reverse perpendicular parking spot, display helpful prompts on your center touchscreen and take control of the steering wheel for easy, stress-free parking. You’ll be in control of the acceleration, shifting and braking.

Auto High-Beam Headlamps

When travelling in low-light conditions or in the nighttime, Auto High-Beam Headlamps will turn on if it senses poor lighting conditions, and will switch between low and high beams when it detects an oncoming vehicle.

BLIS® with Trailer Coverage
Pro Trailer Backup Assist™
Hill Descent Control™

BLIS® with Trailer Coverage

Best when paired with the capabilities of our Ford trucks or SUVs, BLIS® with Trailer Coverage detects and alerts you of vehicles in your model’s blind spot and your trailer’s blind spot.

Pro Trailer Backup Assist™

Now that was easy. This feature is perfect for those heavy haulers. When hauling a trailer and you need to reverse, simply rotate the Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ knob as you back up and the feature will guide your model and trailer in the direction you’d like to go.

Hill Descent Control™

Another high-tech feature perfect for our trucks and SUVs, Hill Descent Control™ gives you confidence when driving down a steep hill or incline by maintaining your speed and automatically applying the brakes as needed for a smooth, stress-free descent.

There’s Even More

It doesn’t stop there. Ford has a list of other available safety features to add to your Ford truck, sedan or SUV. If you want another layer of protective safety for your model, consider adding these features to your configuration:

  • Trailer Sway Control
  • 360-Degree Camera
  • Rain-Sensing Wipers
  • Curve Control
