How do I know if the pre-owned vehicle that I'm interested in has a safety recall?
Simply enter the vehicle’s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) into the NHTSA search tool and you’ll be able to find out if a car has been recalled. You’ll receive a vehicle recall on your model via your phone, email or through first-class mail. Make sure your address and vehicle registration is up-to-date in order to receive this notice. A recall will include information about the safety risks that were discovered within your particular model.
