What is an oil change?

How often should I change my car's oil?

We recommend checking your owner’s manual to find the oil change schedule that fits your model. However, our technicians often get this question, and they recommend having your oil changed every 5,000-7,000 miles if you use conventional oil. Those using synthetic oil may be able to go up to 15,000 miles between oil changes. However, if you notice that your oil is low or very dark, bring your vehicle in for an appointment as soon as possible (even if it’s not time for your next scheduled oil change).

What kind of oil should I select?
